Tomorrow (Saturday, July 10th) is our first ever Firefly 4K race in celebration of our 10th Anniversary in Baton Rouge! We’re all very excited about the event and your overwhelming response to it (we reached our Free Shoe cap in just two days), but don’t worry if you missed the Free Shoe cap - you can still enter the race, get a cool Limited Edition Varsity t-shirt, and enjoy some good eats & drinks with us at the beautiful LSU Rural Life Museum for just $15 ($20 on race day)! We’ll have some very cool prizes for our Top 10 Men & Women and Top Boy & Girl Small-Flies, food supplied by Blue Runner & FRESH Salads & Wraps, Sweet Tea, & plenty of Firefly Vodka for the adults! We hope you’ll come celebrate with us tomorrow!

Join the Varsity Sports Running & Social Club for their FIRST run in New Orleans! This Thursday, June 24th, meet up at The Bulldog on Canal at 6pm for a good workout and a chance to meet up with fellow local runners. After that, join us each Thursday this summer at a new location, with all runs meeting at 6pm and starting at 6:15pm. All runs are completely free of charge, and all experience levels are welcome and encouraged! We hope to see you there! 

To celebrate our 10th Anniversary in Baton Rouge, Varsity Sports is giving away FREE Brooks shoes to all of our Firefly 4K finishers! The 2.49-mile race will be held July 10th at the LSU Rural Life Museum, winding through beautiful roads, grass and packed gravel nature paths. The kids can join in on the fun also with our 1/2-mile Small-Fry Fun Run and get a free Varsity Sports tie-dye t-shirt! We’ll have plenty of refreshments afterwards, including jambalaya, Blue Runner Red Beans, FRESH Salads, Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka Cocktails, Canes Sweet Tea and more!

**ONLY the first 300 to register for the 4K will be guaranteed a free pair of shoes. In order to claim your shoes, you MUST complete the race - no exceptions! Once race application has been turned in with shoe selection & sizes, no changes will be accepted.**

Please join us this summer in Mandeville for the 2010 Wacky Wednesday Summer Series! These 2-mile races will take place on Wednesdays throughout the summer, featuring fun themes and prizes for each event.  Sign up now by filling out this application form and submitting it to the Mandeville store!
